We're back!

Theo and I have been busy getting to know each other these days but we both thought that, in honor of his seven-week birthday, it was time to post more pictures for his adoring public.

I wish I could chronicle everything that has happened since February 7, but Theo is a hungry little man who likes to eat when he likes to eat (as evidenced by Exhibit A -- check out that belly!) and I fear I would not have enough time between feedings to detail Theo's alarmingly rapid development, not to mention his host of charming attributes.

Some highlights . . .

As of today, Theo:
1. has already been on his first overnight trip (mommy, daddy, and baby went to Provincetown on the Cape for Theo's three-week birthday. Stayed at Admiral's Landing, which had an above-average breakfast that included homemade muffins);
2. can turn himself over when placed on his stomach (highly advanced for a baby his age. We may have baby with Olympic potential on our hands);
3. smiles;
4. follows us around the room with his eyes;
5. makes wonderful little noises that almost, if you listen hard, sound like words;
6. cries real tears (as of Thursday!).
