An Unfortunate Rite of Passage: Rice Cereal
And another first today! Rice cereal. Boooooo. It looked so icky and mushy -- why does rice cereal have to be the go-to for baby's first solid? It's unfortunate that it can't be Count Chocula. Or Lucky Charms. Or even Cheerios for heaven's sake.

I can see that you enjoyed your first solid food, Theo. Your grandfather and I can't wait to see you this weekend and feed you some more of that wonderful rice cereal!! Your Mommy used to love it too!
