Fact or Fiction?

Fiction, says Theo.

The family took a trip to Annie's Book Stop in Framingham on Saturday, and we learned something new about T -- he has a predilection for Western Romance novels. Unlike his father, who typically gravitates to the "Religion/Spirituality" or "Psychology" aisles of the bookstore, or his mother, who can always be found in the "Self-Help" section, Theo enjoys a more fanciful read. Among his favorites, Mary Lynn Baxter's "Tempting Janey." See below.

Also of note about our trip to Annie's was the hospitable owner Paul, who gave me a free chocolate cupcake leftover from an event at the bookstore the night before. Paul had Dark Side of the Moon playing while we were there and Jon chatted him up a bit about that. It turns out Paul is a bit of a Pink Floyd aficionado, and Jon, ever humble, admitted after we left that it took some self-restraint to refrain from telling Paul that he had in fact covered Dark Side of the Moon with his band Snap Pusher, back when Jon, formerly known as Diva, was a rock and roll star.

The ride home was a bit of a disaster with T crying, rain pouring down, and heavy traffic but our time at Annie's outshined it all.

Thanks, Annie's (and Paul) for a great afternoon!
