Shoes. Food. Party.

A trip to Stride Rite today. Theo, who is not walking yet, needed a post-Robeez shoe for all the cruising and standing he does. He measured in at a size 5 and was very cooperative while we tried on different pairs. We decided on these:



They're kind of nerdy but he looks so adorable in them and so grown up.

In other news, Theo is finally saying Mama again after a strictly Dada phase. He is also eating more finger foods and is growing impatient with me spooning food into his mouth. He eats veggie burgers, peas, mac and cheese, toast, grilled cheese. I'm sure the more seasoned mothers out there are not impressed but I have a paralyzing fear of Theo choking so feeding Theo a grilled cheese sandwich, albeit in teeny tiny pieces, is huge. If it were up to me he would be eating purees until he went to college.

Also of note -- Theo's birthday party, to be held February 7th, his actual birthday, as well as Super Bowl Sunday. I went to the party store today and bought some decorations which may or may not have included a pinata.
