Another New Year's hike at the Blue Hills. If you'll recall, avid Weymouth Baby readers, we did this hike last year, Theo in Ergo Baby Carrier and Auntie Kate along for the ride. 2011 saw Theo again in the Ergo (though not for long), and Auntie Kate along for the ride (this year with beau Tom). We also had the pleasure of Auntie Tara's company, along with Uncle Tony, cousin Eamon, Grammy, Anthony, and Matthew. Some of us hiked, some of us just had a snowball fight. Grammy and Theo frolicked. There was hot cocoa and cookies. The weather was just right. A happy new year indeed.
Speaking of new year, I am feeling optimistic about 2011. 2010 beat the crap out of me but tonight Kate and I went to yoga and I had a powerful experience. I felt strong and healthy and ready to take on my illness in a new way. Something about the heat and the breathing -- I just felt so alive. So bring it on, 2011. I'm ready for you.
Sooo happy to hear about your hot yoga class. It has changed my life, I'm not exaggerating. Stick with it and I'll join you in a class when we visit! Also, I almost cried when I saw that first picture of Theo. There is something so sweet and good and innocent in his face. I love him. Aunt Donna.
