Days in the Life.

Tonight Theo and I went to the Fat Tuesday Pancake Dinner over at St. Albert the Great's.

FIRST FRIDAY IS MARCH 4
Fat Tuesday/Mardi Gras Pancake Dinner
March 9th is Ash Wednesday and that means that Tuesday March 8th is Fat Tuesday. Join us for a pancake dinner in the parish hall at 5:30 on Tuesday evening as we prepare for the season of Lent. There will be sign-up sheets at all entrances to the church so we know how many to cook for.

Theo was a hit with the older set and enjoyed multiple chocolate chip pancakes. Our good friend's Lou, Mary Kate and Meg were there and I had an opportunity to exchange pleasantries with Father, always a delight.

In other news, today is Uncle David and Aunt Donna's wedding anniversary -- congratulations. We're hoping to see them for Easter again this year. Theo misses them very much. He calls Bert from his Elmo book Uncle David, which seems apt, as David is a bit of a worrier much like Bert. He also calls the tiny blue car from Richard Scarry's Cars and Trucks and Things That Go Uncle David's Car again apt as David drives a Mini Cooper .

Here are some pictures of Theo being such a good boy at Auntie Kate's birthday dinner a few weeks ago. We went to the Sun Tavern in Duxbury -- I had a streak, cooked rare.
