Regan Saturday.

On Saturday, Jon, Theo, and I -- after dropping Auntie Kate and Tom off at South Station -- went to Gerard's in Dorchester for breakfast. It's an Irish diner but has the unique, kitschy characteristic of having to walk through a convenient store to enter the diner. I had a Spanish omelet which isn't Irish at all.

Then we went to the Franklin Park Zoo, despite the temperature (29 degrees) and enjoyed the indoor exhibits, including one that housed the largest rodent in the world, which was the size of a large dog. Theo seemed enthralled by it while I found it disturbing and filthy.

Then home for lunch and family nap.
