Regan Saturday and more.

Back tracking:

On Wednesday, Theo, Jon, and I went to the first Spring Luncheon of the season over at Old South Union Church. The luncheons happen every year, every Wednesday, for the entire month of April. Jon has been taking Theo since Theo was two months old but last Wednesday was my first trip. It was great -- best deal in town -- lunch for three for something like $7.

That same day, Theo and I took a walk through Webb Park in Weymouth with Grammy. We saw:

1. Grammy's Rock
2. Theo's Rock
3. Mommy's Rock
2. Monument (pronounced mahn-oo-ment)
3. Ferry boat going to Boston (the park is on the ocean and we could see the boats go by)

Then Saturday, we had a family outing first to the Tufts Library playground (pre-nap) then post-nap we went to a place called the Peace Abbey, a multi-faith based retreat center in Sherborne, MA. I'll let you read about it but these were the highlights, as verbalized by Theo on the way home:

1. cow
2. goat
3. Gandhi
4. monument (Theo has since dropped the long oo sound used to describe the monument at Webb Park earlier in the week) -- there were many monuments but the one Theo is referring to was the one dedicated to Emily the Cow, a cow who escaped the slaughterhouse and was rescued by a local couple.

Here is Theo at the Peace Abbey clutching his newly purchased St. Francis medallion:

Then a trip to Eastleigh Farm where Theo enjoyed the local wares meaning their freshly churned ice cream. Jon bought some raw milk which I'm not really that in to, as the woman selling it said it will "flush you out." I don't really want to be "flushed out" after I have a bowl of Cheerios.

Finally, Sunday right before bed Theo said "I love you" only to be followed by "I love fans." Huh.
